The Intercultural Health Dialogue (IHD) is a methodology promoted by the Ministry of Health of Peru to strengthen coordination between health services and communities—especially among indigenous and Afro-Peruvian populations—for culturally relevant and participatory healthcare. Since 2014, the IHD has addressed a range of health priorities, including HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B, chronic malnutrition, and heavy metal contamination. It emphasizes the integration of traditional and Western medical knowledge and has been officially endorsed by Ministerial Resolution No. 611-2014/MINSA.
