The World Health Organization will collaborate with all countries and WHO regions to focus on evidence and learning, data and analysis, sustainability and equity, and innovation and technology to harness the potential contribution of traditional medicine – supported by modern science and principles of diversity, equity and sustainability – for the health of people and the planet. The WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine (GCTM) will maximize the role of traditional medicine in global health.
