This presentation introduces a systematic map of reviews on traditional medicine (TM) and health outcomes, commissioned by the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine (GCTM). Evidence mapping is a methodology that visually organizes and categorizes systematic reviews (SRs), providing an overview of the volume, scope, and distribution of evidence while identifying research gaps. This map includes 2,719 SRs published between 2018 and 2022, covering 353 health conditions and a wide range of traditional medical systems—including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Korean Medicine, Persian Medicine, and African and American traditional practices. Intervention modalities such as herbal remedies, acupuncture, manual therapies, and mind-body approaches are mapped against disease categories using ICD-11. The interactive tool allows users to explore this landscape through a simple interface where circle size indicates the number of reviews and color represents the publication year. This systematic map supports evidence-informed policymaking, research prioritization, and integration of TM into health systems.
