In response to rising Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Peru launched the “Reforma de Vida – Sumak Kawsay” program, grounded in ancestral worldviews that emphasize harmony and collective well-being. This initiative systematizes successful Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) experiences that promote self-care and health strengthening, aiming to prevent NCDs through lifestyle change and holistic health practices.
