The LEAPS Program will take place from June 1st - 6th, 2025, at Old Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, California. The overall goal of LEAPS is to enhance student education in evidence-based integrative modalities, and to prepare participants to become leaders in integrative health education at their institutions. By participating in LEAPS, students will:
Develop and refine leadership skills (e.g. public speaking and project management)
Create and implement an individual integrative medicine project at their home institution with the help of a faculty mentor
Gain experience in integrative modalities and approaches to health and healing
Recognize a need for self-care in personal and professional spaces, to optimize self-awareness and overall health
Build relationships with LEAPS faculty and peers from across the nation
Experience a lasting sense of community and well-being
