
The care we need, the care we want
Wellness Week has been celebrated since 2011 to promote a positive vision of health and recognize the importance of health promotion for the well-being of individuals and communities. In 2023 it will take place between September 9 and 15 and will have a launch event on Monday, September 11, in Bogotá (Colombia).
The theme of this edition will be care. The objective is to highlight and claim the care of all people as a central element for health, well-being and equity.
The concept of care calls for people to take care of both their physical and mental health, to lead a healthy life in all settings including work, to better reconcile work and personal life, to foster relationships interpersonal and social (with family and friends) and to take care of the surroundings and the environment, a fundamental element in the face of the challenge of climate change.
We promote policies aimed at a more equitable and sustainable reorganization of care.
