Under the direction of Ricardo Brentani, research at the São Paulo Branch focuses on three broad areas relevant to the understanding of the causes of cancer and the identification of targets for diagnostics or therapeutic intervention. Three groups, the Computational Biology Group, the Cancer Genetics Group, and the Molecular Immunology Group, collaborate to apply high-throughputtechnology to cancer genomics.
