The tasks that the Society develop are the followings: to educate the public about cancer; to run the Icelandic Cancer Registry; to carry the Cancer Detection Clinic; screening day for skin cancer; the care of cancer patients bringing the housing; the palliative home care service; the telephone information and support health run.
