ASH's statement of the elements of training and certification required for the American hematologist, and the professional expertise that defines all hematologists. The Society has different programmes: Educational Programmes, Training and Career Development Initiatives, International Outreach. Trough them the Society improves the research and the proffessional training.

Objetivo:
The mission ASH is to further the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders affecting the blood, bone marrow, and the immunologic, hemostatic and vascular systems, by promoting research, clinical care, education, training, and advocacy in hematology.
