Public Law 91-121 and Public Law 91-441 (50 U.S.C. 1512) mandate that the Department of Health and Human Services review DOD plans for disposing of these munitions and make recommendations to protect human health. Public comment was requested on these recommendations; this notice summarizes comments received, responds to those comments, and states the final recommendations.
