Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer (SPOHNC)

Founded in 1991 by an oral cancer survivor, addresses the broad emotional, physical and humanistic needs of this population. As a self-help organization involved in development of programs of support, SPOHNC, a not-for-profit organization, can be a vital component of the healing process for head and neck cancer patients. As such it can have an enormous positive impact on meeting the psychosocial needs of patients as well as preserving, restoring, and promoting physical and emotional health.
