
To mark the July 28, World Day Against Viral Hepatitis, and strengthen the need for people to seek diagnosis and prevention of these diseases. The World Health Organization, launches the theme of the Hepatitis 2018 campaign. “Hepatitis, it’s time to diagnose, treat and cure.” Activities under this theme can help achieve the following country-specific and global objectives
- (a) support the expansion of hepatitis prevention, testing, treatment and care services, with a specific focus on promoting WHO recommendations for testing and treatment;
- b) show best practices and promote universal health coverage of hepatitis care services;
- (c) improving partnerships and funding in the fight against viral hepatitis.Timely testing and treatment of viral hepatitis B and C can save lives.To find documents on the subject go to the WHO website
