28 July – World Hepatitis Day 2015

On July 28 is celebrated the world day of hepatitis, the date is to focus conduct campaigns to increase awareness of the disease and claims access to treatment, prevention programs and government actions.

Viral hepatitis can be prevented. It’s up to all of us to act

Prevention

There are several measures that can prevent the spread of viral hepatitis:
> Use condoms in all sexual relations;
> Require sterilized or disposable materials in tattoo parlors and piercing;
> Do not share manicure and pedicure instruments;
> Do not use razors or shaving of others;
> Do not share needles, syringes and equipment for inhaled and pipadas drugs like crack.
